About Love Summer

Hi, I'm Summer Leigh, founder of Love Summer. Love Summer is a personal brand, but it's also just... personal. The idea was born during a period of time when I was unhoused with my then-teenager, desperately but defiantly holding onto the light. As it took shape, so did the understanding that the world we begin building even in the midst of all this darkness is the one we'll inhabit when the smoke starts to clear. We- people like you and me- are the new architects. We build what comes next. 

It has become my passion and purpose to help facilitate ideas. Ideas that enrich and empower. That don't just raise all boats but break the very dams. Ideas are foundational. My deepest desire is to see and be a part of building a society that sees the incredible inherent value in each individual human's unique set of knowledge, skills, and experiences. 

Another passion of mine is art and using it to empower people to live bold, vibrant, defiant lives. I created a line of indie apparel and accessories designed to do just that. Color and joy are resistance.
